DESIGN INSPIRATION
To convert a sleeping bag into a puffer jacket. To maintain a theme in line with streetwear surrealism suitable for the Supreme brand.
ENVIRONMENT DAY 2019
UPCYCLED PUFFA JACKET
Tafe fashion students participated in Environment Day 2019 at Cotton Tree park. The upcycled puffa jacket was part of that catwalk runway event.
PUFFA JACKET UPCYCLED FROM SLEEPING BAG
Design Development was a combination of Long Line puffa and an extreme elements parka. Inspiration from the surreal streetwear theme, my featured brand to design this project for was Supreme.
The original zipper from the sleeping bag was retained to give a full zip up parka.
SOFT COMFORTABLE AND DURABLE
This sleeping bag was my son's sleeping bag that he used for school camps. The design feature in the shape of a red triangle, was an original feature on the sleeping bag. It is incorporated here on the jacket as a design feature.
